Bonnie The Proud Mum

Preparation & Mindset

It is a daily requirement to look after your dog in the way that it deserves. You must prepare your home and your mindset before bringing your puppy home. Everyone in your household must agree to getting a puppy, be on the same page, and you must all engage in training it collectively following the same protocols in order to remain consistent so as not to confuse your dog.

If you have considered all of the above and think you would be a good match for a Goldendoodle puppy then please get in touch via email or Instagram.

What Happens Next?

Please ask us for our Puppy Application form and submit this for us to consider and approve. Completing this application form is the first step in the process of acquiring a puppy but is also for us to find only the very best and most suitable forever homes for our puppies. Bonnie is our pride and joy and it is vitally important that our puppies are matched with suitable families who can love and care for them in the way that they deserve. Please be aware that by filling out this form does not automatically guarantee you a puppy from this or any future litter. While it is unlikely, we, as the breeder, reserve the right to refuse any placement at any time.

Securing Your Puppy

APPROVAL & ZOOM CALL:

Due to the number of enquiries we receive, we ask that you allow 2-3 months for us to review your application. Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. If your application has been approved we will then arrange a phone call followed by a Zoom call to discuss your application, answer any questions you may have and discuss the next steps.

HOLDING FEE/DEPOSIT:

At this stage your deposit is then payable to us and our bank details will be emailed to you.  Upon receipt of your deposit your reservation will be confirmed and a receipt will be emailed to you (a copy of this will be supplied in your puppy pack).

MEETING BONNIE & HER PUPPIES:

At Bonnie Mini Doodles we use our experience of "Puppy Profiling" to ensure you get the puppy that fits your lifestyle whilst taking into consideration any specific requirements you may have (sex and coat colour preference).  Every family wants and needs different things from dog ownership and as we raise our litter we get to know their personalities like nobody else as we are constantly with them for a period of 8 weeks from birth. Therefore we are best placed to guide you on that choice. The personality of the dog is what you will ultimately live with so our decision is heavily based around that.

We will invite you into our home to meet us, Bonnie and, of course, her puppies when they are 4-6 weeks old. This is also when we get to meet you and the potential family members that the puppy will be living with and be reliant upon for his/her daily care. It is important that ALL family members are committed to the new arrival because having a puppy will affect all members of your home and it has to be a joint decision. Puppies will be chosen/matched to their new family from 6 weeks as this supports the process of profiling the puppy to ensure the best possible match for families. When the puppies are 7 weeks of age you will be invited back to our home where you will have another opportunity to meet and interact with your new puppy before preparing to collect him/her at 8 weeks of age.

BALANCE:

The remaining balance is due when you have met the puppies and a successful puppy match is made from 6 weeks onwards. Details of payments will be in your contract and included in your puppy pack.

GOING HOME:

While we will be very sad to see our puppies go and would love to keep them forever it is important that the puppy's departure from us is within a reasonable timeframe (not much longer than 8 weeks of age) as it is absolutely critical to their social development.

CONTRACT:

We will not place a puppy with a new owner without both parties (breeder and buyer) first having signed a puppy contract.  If you have any questions about specific terms please do contact us and please do so before picking up your puppy. A copy of our contract will be emailed to you beforehand and hard copies will be available for signing when you collect your puppy.
